Prague Stag Do Budget Guide: What It Actually Costs (2026)
Prague has been the go-to stag destination for UK groups for 20 years. Cheap beer, cheap hotels, a small old town you can crawl in one night, and a currency (Czech koruna) that makes even tight budgets feel loose. This is what a realistic 3-night Prague stag actually costs in 2026.
All figures are per person, for a group of 12, sharing twin rooms.
Flights: £80 to £150
Ryanair, easyJet, and Wizz Air all fly to Prague from London Stansted, Luton, Manchester, Bristol, and Edinburgh. Off-peak weekends (October to March, excluding New Year) go for £80 return. Peak summer weekends sit around £130 to £150.
Book 8 to 10 weeks out for the best prices. Flying Thursday to Sunday is cheaper than Friday to Monday.
Hotels: £30 to £60 per night, per person
Prague 1 (Old Town) and Prague 2 (Vinohrady) are the two areas to stay. Old Town puts you on top of the nightlife. Vinohrady is a 15-minute metro away and 20 percent cheaper.
Central 3-star hotels on Wenceslas Square come in at around £35 per person per night on twin share. A 4-star near the river is £55 to £70. Hostels are still available at £15 to £20 per night for groups who do not care about privacy.
Budget: £90 to £180 for three nights.
Food: €15 to €30 per day
Czech food is heavy, cheap, and made for hangovers. A pork knuckle with dumplings and a beer at a traditional pub is €12 to €15. A proper restaurant dinner with starter and mains runs €20 to €30.
Breakfast at the hotel is usually included. If not, McDonald's and Paneria cover it for €5.
Budget: €60 to €100 for three days.
Beer: this is where Prague wins
A half-litre of Pilsner Urquell at a Czech pub is between 50 and 70 koruna, which works out to €2 to €3. In the more touristy bars near Old Town Square, you'll pay €4 to €5. Either way, a full session night costs €20 to €30 at most.
Cocktails run €8 to €12 in club bars. Shots are €3 to €5.

Clubs: €10 to €25 entry
Karlovy Lazne (5 floors, the biggest club in Central Europe) charges €15 entry on weekends. Retro Music Hall is €10 to €15. Dupe is €15 to €20 with a drink included. M1 Lounge is free entry but drinks are €8 to €10.
For two club nights out of three, budget €30 to €50.
Strip clubs and adult entertainment
Prague is famous for strip clubs. It's also where stag dos get fleeced. Entry is usually €30 to €50 per person. Table bottle service starts at €200 and goes up fast. Private dances are €50 to €100 each.
Stick to the well-known venues (Show Park, Goldfingers) where prices are posted. Avoid anything a tout on Wenceslas Square recommends to you directly, that is how groups end up with €1,500 bar bills.
Skippable if it is not your thing. Many groups now do stag do activities that are not strippers.
