The case for Ibiza
Ibiza is the peak of European nightlife. Pacha, Amnesia, Ushuaïa, Hï, DC-10. Every weekend in summer has three or four headline lineups you genuinely can't see anywhere else. Pair that with Café del Mar sunsets in San Antonio and the boat party scene off Playa d'en Bossa, and Ibiza delivers memories no budget destination can.
It's also the Instagram stag. The photos from an O Beach Ibiza afternoon look different from the photos from a BCM night, whether or not that matters to your group.
The catch is price. Ibiza has become the most expensive stag destination in Europe. Drinks cost 2x Magaluf, club entry is 3x, and the hotels in Playa d'en Bossa run £120 to £200 per person per night in August. Budget under £550 per person and the group will be stressed about money every night.

The case for Magaluf
Magaluf delivers a 3-night stag for £370 per person, all in. That is roughly half the Ibiza floor, and more or less delivers 70% of the experience if your group's priority is pints, pool parties, and a proper British-style strip.
Punta Ballena is short (500 metres) but densely packed with clubs and bars that actively welcome stag groups. BCM is the biggest club on the island and often has decent weekend DJs. The BH Mallorca pool parties are now the Magaluf equivalent of Ushuaïa, with growing headliner lineups at Ibiza-minus-60% prices.
The downside is that Magaluf is unapologetically what it is. If the group wants cultural day trips, beach clubs with dress codes, or a sunset aesthetic, Magaluf will frustrate them.

The verdict
Pick Ibiza if:budget is £600+ per person, at least half the group actually cares about the DJs playing, and you're going in June, July, or August (shoulder season kills half the scene).
Pick Magaluf if:budget is under £500 per person, the group just wants a proper British-style strip and pool parties, or you're going outside peak summer.
Either way, both islands have cameras on every balcony. Set up the trip before you fly.
